Dennis' 40th Birthday

On May 21st, 2011, we helped Diona Pope with a surprise birthday party for husband, Dennis Pope, who turned 40.  Dennis was truly surprised to see family and all his friends he has known through the years.

With photos provided by Diona , we created a video montage for Dennis and after dinner, we played music for dancing and guests were treated to the photo booth to create a memory with Dennis!

Happy Birthday Dennis.

Lisa & Jorge

We celebrated another Photo Booth fun event with Lisa & Jorge at their wedding reception on May 7th, 2011.  Bringing the booth was just the beginning, the props also made a hit, but the "cram as many people we can into one photo" takes the prize.

Lisa & Jorge has a wonderful time taking the spontaneous memory filled photos with their guests.

Congrats Lisa & Jorge.

Daniel & Amanda

Daniel and Amanda

We took careful planning for the wedding and reception of Daniel Orozco and Amanda Martinez. We had had met them several months ago where Amanda was the Maid of Honor for Danielle Holman. Also, we were also happy to see Randy Licht who is one of our preferred photographers and who does and outstanding job!

Their wedding took place at the beautiful Morgan Creek Golf-Country Club in Roseville, CA.  The event coordinator, Trinity Gangi was most excellent to work with and her professionalism shined through as well as her staff.

Now, picture and outdoor ceremony under a blue sky, a slight breeze and a few clouds here and there along with a beautiful rolling hills backdrop. With Amanda’s wishes, we took extra care in the planning of her ceremony that before she arrived for her processional, her guests had given loud approval with cheers and applause.

Then there was silence (pre-arranged dead awkward silence). The guests were looking around for the bride, but from the distance, the sounds of a horse drawn carriage could be heard approaching. As it came into view, you could hear all the guests inhale with anticipation, and then, the loud “Aww” factor was said by everyone. That’s how a wedding should begin!

After the ceremony, guests were invited to use our Open Air Photobooth as part of the afternoon entertainment along with a video prepared by the Daniel and Amanda.

For the rest of the afternoon, it was a beautiful day made awesome by Daniel and Amanda and everyone involved in the planning to make their day a success.

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMugWe rang in the New Year with an awesome good time with marriage of Michael & Amanda. We had the pleasure of providing our photo booth services for them and their guests at the Peach Tree County Club which is a beautiful setting to have a ceremony and reception.

Our bride & groom along with the guests were good at hamming it up in front of the camera with the props and celebrated the New Year into the night.

Congrats Mike and & Amanda and pop over here to view the gallery.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I almost forgot. For the last two years, we have sent out Thanksgiving cards to family and friends who mean so much to us. We also want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends who don't live local and who are connected with us through Twitter & Facebook. You also mean a lot to us. I apologize that we almost forgot, yet it is not too late, so...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

See you in a couple of weeks with the new X-Mas card!

Tyler, Sean, Kristi and Geoff!

Brett & Monica

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMugOn 11/20/2010, Brett & Monica Sankey were wed at The Palms in Chico, CA. They had planned for their wedding to be outdoors in the peaceful, breathtaking and private venue, however, Mother Nature had different plans so the rain put “Plan B” into action!

With the ceremony having moved into the indoor pavilion, it was standing room only as Monica came down the aisle to Miranda Wong’s “Romantic Wedding March”. For her recessional, Monica chose Jason Mraz’s “Lucky”

As the bridal party was whisked off for photos by Rhoda Fleck, who had great ideas and was awesome to work with, we opened up the photo booth to all the guests. Everyone took great delight to capture fun moments and put their photos in the memory book for Brett & Monica.

When the time came for the Grand Entrance, the Bridal Party entered to The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling”. Brett & Monica entered to Michael BublĂ©’s “Everything”.

For her first dance, Monica's brother, Jake Cousineau sang and played an acoustic guitar as she and Brett danced. For her dance with her father, Monica chose Heartland's "I Loved Her First". When it was time for the cake, Monica requested “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archie’s and then we lowered the lights for OPEN DANCING! The dance lighting effects were awesome so hats off to Dream Lighting & Sounds!

After everyone was nice and exhausted from dancing for a bit, we did the bouquet and garter toss. From the second floor, Monica tossed the bouquet to the Pat Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and Brett, threw the garter to ZZ Top’s “Legs”.

For our youngsters who couldn’t join in on the bouquet and garter toss, Monica had requested a Teddy Bear Toss. She met me by the DJ Booth and she tossed a Teddy Bear to the children. For those who didn’t catch the bear, I handed out glow sticks!

We went lights out again and opened the dance floor until the night ended where our bride and groom where taken away by their limo!

Once again…Good times and Good fun!

Kaiser Pernamente Holiday Party

Just a quick post to say many thanks to Kaiser Permanente for inviting us to their Holiday Party at Laughs Unlimited in Old Sacramento. Of course we used a holiday themed card with the “Kaiser Permanente” logo on it. I also put a "glow" effect around the logo to make it a little more festive.

Although we were there for a short time, we got in as many photos as we could between dinner and the comedian, it was still a successful event. I wish we could have stayed longer. Also, never under estimate the power of the prop to help people open up to their fun and wild side!

See you soon Kaiser Permanente!

TOPSoccer!

Just a quick post this time. Our disabled youth soccer league had its final game today and I loved being the coach for the "Tiger Sharks". As treat for all the players and the Soccer Buddies, we gave them unlimited use of the photo booth. For the background of the photo card, I put my photo shop skills to good use and made a soccer field and it came out well!

It was an awesome year and many thanks to the parents for their support along with the buddies for helping the players on the field. See you all next season!
