Egling Winter Dance

Today was a busy day! Woo Hoo!

In the morning, we were at Egling Middle School in Colusa DJing their dance and we brought the photo booth with us. We had good times while we were there and we enjoyed the respectful nature of the students.

The student requests were plenty and appropriate, but I wish I had more time to play all of them. I feel bad for not getting in the last slow dace at the end of event. We hope to be invited back as next time as we plan to bring our “glow” products and give out free prizes including pictures to the photo booth.

Winter Ball

This evening, we were at the Butte Vista School for their Winter Ball. We had a break from DJing, but had the most excellent time with the photo booth. We also saw many familiar faces from the Halloween Dance.

We took advantage of the openness of the photo booth and used a Christmas for the backdrop of the photo strip. The students loved them and have the opportunity to download them later from the gallery. We know they enjoyed it as the line was never ending!

Merry Christmas Butte Vista! We'll see you at the next photo booth event!

Yuba-Sutter Squad Club

Yuba/Sutter Squad Club
Tonight we played for the Yuba/Sutter Squad Club Christmas party where we had a blast. I got to play good music and see good friends. It was good times!

Jodi Beck and Jeff Larson organized the party and did an excellent job. I got an early X-Mas present…I got to go home with a pumpkin pie and cookies for the family!

By the time dinner ended, which the food was prepared by Aroma Catering, everyone was ready to party. I fired up the Mackies, pumped up the bass and flipped on the party lights and we partied up the night for three hours straight.

Thanks again Jodi and Jeff and Merry Christmas to all of the squad members.

Cassandra and Joseph's Wedding

Tonight we were honored to DJ for the wedding of Cassandra Carroll and Joseph Vomacka. It took place at the Victorian Manor, home of the “Cake Lady” in Yuba City, CA/

Cassandra and her mother, Tracey, prepared all the food and as Cassandra works at the Cake Lady, she made her own cake. Which reminds me, I cannot recall a wedding which I have DJ’d where there wasn’t a wedding cake from the Cake Lady.

For the ceremony, the following selections were used

For the flower girl and ring bearer: MercyMe – I Can Only Imagine
Bridal Processional: Barrymoore Chamber Orchestra - Pachelbel's Canon in D
Recessional: James Brown vs. Queen – I Feel Good / Another One Bites The Dust

The recessional song was a personal request from Cassie so I mixed the two songs together.

The families of the bride and groom enjoyed themselves as they were surrounded by other family members and friends to partake in the joyous occasion and we were glad to be part of it.

Cassie and Joseph's had their first dance as husband and wife to: Kris Allen - To Make You Feel My Love
Cassie danced with her father to: Carter Music - Daddy's Angel

Soon after there was cake cutting (which the cake was totally delicious) and then open floor dancing. Requests were taken as the dancing went into the evening while the multi-flower lights, mirror ball, sound activated lights all blazed away. Many excellent requests were made rendering the whole evening awesome.

Many, many congratulations to Cassandra and Joseph. Have great honeymoon in Disneyland and have a wonderful blessed life together.
